FAQ SAUNA
Infrared Sauna: The maximum temperature in our Infrared Sauna is 70°C, but we recommend staying below 65°C for comfort.
Traditional Finnish Sauna: The maximum temperature here is 90°C. We encourage you to take as many breaks as needed and cool off with a cold shower.
Ice Showers: The temperature in our ice showers is 4°C. We recommend using the sauna for 15-20 minutes, then ice showers for 1-5 minutes (those new to ice showers should aim for the 1-2 minute range).

Arriving on time is important, as late arrivals will shorten your session. If it's your first time, please arrive early so we can guide you through the process.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your sauna session, your booking may be forfeited. We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and these will be considered where possible.
We offer a variety of sauna experiences to suit your needs:
There are 3 private infrared saunas, for those seeking a quiet and personal session.
We also have 2 communal Dry saunas; one that fits up to 8 people and another that accommodates up to 4. If you prefer a more private experience, either of the Dry saunas can be booked exclusively as a private session.
Members can book a 2-person session online and pay a $25 difference for the Infrared Sauna upon arrival.
To book for two, select "1x Infrared Sauna (2 person)."
For Dry Sauna sessions, simply add another person to your booking — each additional guest is $49.
Non-members: For two people, choose "1x Infrared Sauna (2 person)."
For three, select "1x Infrared Sauna (3 person)."
No children under 16.
For the sauna: We recommend wearing underwear or bathers, as you’ll sweat a lot. Make sure to wear loose-fitting clothes after your session for comfort.
For the Ice showers: Wear bathers or something that you don’t mind getting wet.
One towel is provided for each session, though you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Tier 2 members are provided with one complimentary water bottle. Filtered water is available for refill at the station located outside the Pilates studio.
Yes, we offer private showers exclusively for members. These can also be used as changerooms, so you can comfortably get ready before or after your session.
If using the infrared saunas we recommend letting your body cool naturally after your sauna and showering at home to extend the benefits of the session.
No, please avoid using fake tan in the saunas. Damaged towels due to fake tan will incur a $25 fee per towel
No, oils and lotions can block your pores, reduce your sweat, and stain the wood.
Yes, you can bring your phone,but be aware it may heat up. Keep an eye on it.
Download the Momence app before arriving. Upon arrival, tap the lock icon and select "Front Door Access" to unlock the door. No app is needed to exit the building.

Yes, all of our infrared saunas are equipped with Bluetooth, allowing you to connect your phone to your designated sauna and enjoy your own music, podcasts or other media during your session.
As our Dry Sauna is a shared communal space, personal media cannot be played out loud for the comfort of all guests. Instead, curated music is played through a shared speaker for everyone to enjoy.
Yes, we have a dedicated relaxation space in our lobby where you can cool down and reset after your session, with calming tea and cold towels available if desired.
You can pause your membership for up to two weeks within a three-month period. Please note that this pause can’t be used in addition to any other offers.

On-Demand Reformer Pilates at The Well is designed for complete flexibility, with each reformer equipped with its own dedicated screen and access to a library of hundreds of self-guided classes, available any time of day.
There are no in-person instructors; instead simply choose from a range of online instructors offering classes between 15 and 55 minutes to suit your workout.
Book through The Well website or download the Momence app to reserve a reformer and secure your spot. Choose a 30-minute or 50-minute session and select a reformer number. If you haven’t booked and a reformer is available, you can still use it.
Pair your Bluetooth headphones and follow along on-screen.
If you don’t have headphones, the sound will play through the speakers. We ask that you keep your volume to a minimum in consideration of others.

Yes, pregnant clients are welcome to participate. There are pre- and post-natal programs focused on consistency of movement, designed and instructed by qualified Physiotherapists and Clinical Pilates Instructors. This ensures you are provided with a safe, progressive way to move your body, whilst targeting the right areas to support your growing bump and recovery.
